After having a good one day series with the experiment of some new comers India have won the first by 63 runs of the three match test series. However,India eased to only their fifth Test win in the Caribbean.Praveen Kumar,the debutant created a huge and positive impression on the selectors.After many obstacles, Rahul Dravid came in form and made a century in the second innings which lead him to receive the man of the match award.
From beginning of the test match with the first bowl pitched it seemed like a bowling pitch.Later proved by bowlers of the teams.It was a challenge for the Indian bowlers to show some potentialities over the pitch and did very well.Though Praveen got a problem with the warnings of umpire, others covered it well.It’s a good news for the Indian bowling.
On the contrary West Indian bowlers bowled really well but their batting order fell down in both of the two innings. Two openers, chanderpaul, D. Bravo fought well but it was not so enough to get the touch of win.R. Sarwan didn’t make an impression.It was a good test match for D. Bishoo who took 7 wickets.At the last moments of their innings R. Rampaul entertained the spectators a little.
